3 And I used to appear to Abraham,+ Isaac+ and Jacob+ as God Almighty,*+ but as respects my name Jehovah*+ I did not make myself known+ to them.*

20 And he added: “You are not able to see my face, because no man* may see me and yet live.”+

4 “Listen, O Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah.*+

18 Jesus said to him: “Why do you call me good?+ Nobody is good, except one, God.+

24 God is a Spirit,*+ and those worshiping him must worship with spirit and truth.”+

20 For his invisible+ [qualities] are clearly seen from the world’s* creation onward,+ because they are perceived by the things made,+ even his eternal power+ and Godship,*+ so that they are inexcusable;+

4 Now concerning the eating+ of foods offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing+ in the world,* and that there is no God but one.+

11 according to the glorious good news of the happy+ God, with which I was entrusted.+

5 For there is one God,+ and one mediator+ between God+ and men,+ a man, Christ Jesus,+

24 For Christ entered, not into a holy place made with hands,+ which is a copy of the reality,*+ but into heaven itself,+ now to appear before the person of God for us.+

16 And we ourselves have come to know and have believed the love+ that God has in our case.

God is love,+ and he that remains in love+ remains in union with God and God remains in union+ with him.

8 And as for the four living creatures,+ each one of them respectively has six wings;+ round about and underneath* they are full of eyes.+ And they have no rest day and night as they say: “Holy, holy, holy* is Jehovah*+ God, the Almighty,*+ who was and who is+ and who is coming.”
