²⁴ Subsequently the king of As·syr′i·a brought people from Babylon*+ and Cu′thah and Av′va+ and Ha′math+ and Seph·ar·va′im+ and had them dwell in the cities of Sa·mar′i·a+ instead of the sons of Israel; and they began to take possession of Sa·mar′i·a and to dwell in its cities.
