2 Jehovah is my crag and my stronghold and the Provider of escape for me.+
My God* is my rock. I shall take refuge in him,*+
My shield and my horn of salvation, my secure height.+
3 Become to me a rock fortress into which to enter constantly.+
You must command to save me,+
For you are my crag and my stronghold.+
14 Because on me he has set his affection,+
I shall also provide him with escape.+
I shall protect him* because he has come to know my name.+
