16 To earthling man* belong the arrangings of the heart,+ but from Jehovah is the answer of the tongue.+

¹² The words of the mouth of the wise one mean favor,+ but the lips of the stupid one swallow him up.+

¹⁹ “I am creating the fruit of the lips.+ Continuous peace* there will be to the one that is far away and to the one that is near,”+ Jehovah has said, “and I will heal him.”+

¹⁵ Through him let us always offer to God a sacrifice of praise,+ that is, the fruit of lips+ which make public declaration* to his name.+
