¹² “I myself have told forth and have saved and have caused [it] to be heard,+ when there was among YOU no strange [god].*+ So YOU are my witnesses,”+ is the utterance of Jehovah, “and I am God.*+

⁸ Do not be in dread, YOU people, and do not become stupefied.+ Have I not from that time on caused you individually to hear and told [it] out?+ And YOU are my witnesses.+ Does there exist a God* besides me?+ No, there is no Rock.*+ I have recognized none.’”

²⁷ and YOU, in turn, are to bear witness,+ because YOU have been with me from when I began.

⁸ but YOU will receive power+ when the holy spirit arrives upon YOU, and YOU will be witnesses*+ of me both in Jerusalem+ and in all Ju·de′a and Sa·mar′i·a+ and to the most distant part* of the earth.”+

¹⁵ Moreover, we are also found false witnesses of God,+ because we have borne witness+ against God that he raised up the Christ,+ but whom he did not raise up if the dead are really not to be raised up.+

⁵ and from Jesus Christ, “the Faithful Witness,”+ “The firstborn from the dead,”+ and “The Ruler of the kings of the earth.”+
