³⁴ Furthermore, Phar′aoh Ne′choh made E·li′a·kim+ the son of Jo·si′ah king in place of Jo·si′ah his father and changed his name to Je·hoi′a·kim; and Je·ho′a·haz he took and then brought to Egypt, where he eventually died.+

⁵ Twenty-five years old was Je·hoi′a·kim+ when he began to reign, and for eleven years he reigned in Jerusalem;+ and he continued to do what was bad in the eyes of Jehovah his God.+
