⁸ “Give thanks to Jehovah,+ YOU people; call upon his name,+

Make his deeds known among the peoples!+

¹³ and it came about that as soon as the trumpeters and the singers were as one+ in causing one sound to be heard in praising and thanking Jehovah, and as soon as they lifted up the sound with the trumpets and with the cymbals and with the instruments of song+ and with praising+ Jehovah, “for he is good,+ for to time indefinite is his loving-kindness,”*+ the house itself was filled with a cloud,+ the very house of Jehovah,+

¹¹ And they began to respond by praising+ and giving thanks to Jehovah, “for he is good,+ for his loving-kindness* toward Israel is to time indefinite.”+ As for all the people, they shouted with a loud shout+ in praising Jehovah over the laying of the foundation of the house of Jehovah.

 ² For I have said: “Loving-kindness will stay built even to time indefinite;+

As for the heavens, you keep your faithfulness firmly established in them.”+

⁴ And in that day YOU will certainly say: “Give thanks to Jehovah, YOU people!+ Call upon his name.+ Make known among the peoples his dealings.+ Make mention that his name is put on high.+

¹⁸ Who is a God* like you,+ one pardoning error and passing over transgression+ of the remnant of his inheritance?+ He will certainly not hold onto his anger forever, for he is delighting in loving-kindness.*+
