²² And I shall certainly overthrow the throne of kingdoms and annihilate the strength of the kingdoms of the nations;+ and I will overthrow [the] chariot and its riders, and [the] horses and their riders will certainly come down,+ each one by the sword of his brother.’”+

⁸ “For nation will rise* against nation and kingdom against kingdom,+ there will be earthquakes*+ in one place after another, there will be food shortages.+ These are a beginning of pangs of distress.+

⁴ And another came forth, a fiery-colored horse; and to the one seated upon it there was granted to take peace away from the earth so that they should slaughter one another; and a great sword was given him.+
