⁵ “Look! There are days coming,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “and I will raise up to David a righteous sprout.+ And a king will certainly reign+ and act with discretion and execute justice and righteousness in the land.+

²⁷ As Jesus was passing along from there, two blind men+ followed him, crying out and saying: “Have mercy on us,+ Son of David.”

²² And, look! a Phoe·ni′cian*+ woman from those regions came out and cried aloud, saying: “Have mercy on me,+ Lord, Son of David. My daughter is badly demonized.”
