12 Rejoice and leap for joy,+ since YOUR reward+ is great in the heavens; for in that way they persecuted the prophets+ prior to YOU.

25 But about the middle of the night+ Paul and Silas were praying and praising God with song;+ yes, the prisoners were hearing them.

3 And not only that, but let us exult while in tribulations,+ since we know that tribulation produces endurance;+

10 Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in insults, in cases of need, in persecutions and difficulties, for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am powerful.+

29 because to YOU the privilege was given in behalf of Christ, not only to put YOUR faith+ in him, but also to suffer+ in his behalf.

34 For YOU both expressed sympathy for those in prison and joyfully took the plundering+ of YOUR belongings, knowing YOU yourselves have a better and an abiding possession.+

13 On the contrary, go on rejoicing+ forasmuch as YOU are sharers in the sufferings of the Christ,+ that YOU may rejoice and be overjoyed also during the revelation*+ of his glory.
