²² For the Father judges no one at all, but he has committed all the judging to the Son,+

³¹ Because he has set a day in which he purposes to judge+ the inhabited earth* in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and he has furnished a guarantee* to all men in that he has resurrected+ him from the dead.”

⁹ For to this end Christ died and came to life again,+ that he might be Lord over both the dead+ and the living.+

¹⁰ For we must all be made manifest before the judgment seat of the Christ,+ that each one may get his award for the things done through the body, according to the things he has practiced, whether it is good or vile.+

4 I solemnly charge you before God and Christ Jesus,* who is destined to judge+ the living and the dead,+ and by his manifestation+ and his kingdom,+

⁵ But these people will render an account to the one+ ready to judge those living and those dead.+
