8 ταῦτα these (things) γὰρ for ὑμῖν to YOU ὑπάρχοντα existing καὶ and πλεονάζοντα becoming more οὐκ not ἀργοὺς ineffective οὐδὲ nor ἀκάρπους unfruitful καθίστησιν it is putting down εἰς into τὴν the τοῦ of the κυρίου Lord ἡμῶν of us Ἰησοῦ of Jesus Χριστοῦ Christ ἐπίγνωσιν· accurate knowledge;
