17 I shall surely bless you and I shall surely multiply your seed like the stars of the heavens and like the grains of sand that are on the seashore;+ and your seed will take possession of the gate* of his enemies.+

4 Adulteresses,*+ do YOU not know that the friendship with the world is enmity with God?+ Whoever, therefore, wants to be a friend+ of the world is constituting himself an enemy of God.+

9 But when Miʹcha·el+ the archangel+ had a difference*+ with the Devil and was disputing* about Moses’ body,+ he did not dare to bring a judgment against him in abusive terms,+ but said: “May Jehovah* rebuke you.”+

7 And war broke out in heaven: Miʹcha·el*+ and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled

17 And the dragon grew wrathful at the woman,+ and went off to wage war with the remaining ones of her seed, who observe the commandments of God and have the work of bearing witness*+ to Jesus.
