12 But the more they would oppress them, the more they would multiply and the more they kept spreading abroad, so that they felt a sickening dread as a result of the sons of Israel.+

27 “And I shall send the fright of me ahead of you,+ and I shall certainly throw into confusion all the people among whom you come, and I shall indeed give the back of the neck of all your enemies to you.*+

25 No man will make a firm stand against YOU.+ The dread of YOU and the fear of YOU Jehovah YOUR God will put before the face of all the land+ on which YOU will tread, just as he has promised YOU.

9 And she went on to say to the men: “I do know that Jehovah will certainly give YOU the land,+ and that the fright of YOU has fallen upon us,+ and that all the inhabitants of the land have become disheartened because of YOU.+
