18 “And they will certainly listen to your voice,+ and you must come, you and the older men of Israel, to the king of Egypt, and YOU men must say to him, ‘Jehovah the God of the Hebrews+ has come in touch with us,+ and now we want to go, please, a journey of three days into the wilderness, and we want to sacrifice to Jehovah our God.’+

9 Consequently Jehovah said to Moses: “Go in to Pharʹaoh and you must state to him,+ ‘This is what Jehovah the God of the Hebrews has said: “Send my people away that they may serve me.
