5 and every firstborn+ in the land of Egypt must die, from the firstborn of Pharʹaoh who is sitting on his throne to the firstborn of the maidservant who is at the hand mill and every firstborn of beast.+

13 For every firstborn is mine.+ In the day that I struck every firstborn in the land of Egypt+ I sanctified to myself every firstborn in Israel from man to beast.+ They should become mine. I am Jehovah.”
