11 Thus Joseph had his father and his brothers dwell and he gave them a possession in the land of Egypt, in the very best of the land, in the land of Ramʹe·ses,+ just as Pharʹaoh had commanded.

11 So they set over them chiefs of forced labor for the purpose of oppressing them in their burden-bearing;+ and they went building cities as storage places for Pharʹaoh, namely, Piʹthom and Ra·amʹses.+
