22 Yes, nearly all things are cleansed with blood+ according to the Law, and unless blood is poured out+ no forgiveness* takes place.+

12 Hence Jesus also, that he might sanctify+ the people with his own blood,+ suffered outside the gate.+

2 according to the foreknowledge of God the Father,+ with sanctification by the spirit,+ for the purpose of their being obedient and sprinkled+ with the blood of Jesus Christ:+

May undeserved kindness and peace be increased to YOU.+

7 However, if we are walking in the light as he himself is in the light,+ we do have a sharing with one another,+ and the blood+ of Jesus his Son cleanses+ us from all sin.+

5 and from Jesus Christ, “the Faithful Witness,”+ “The firstborn from the dead,”+ and “The Ruler of the kings of the earth.”+

To him that loves us+ and that loosed us from our sins by means of his own blood+—
