30 Then Caʹleb+ tried to still the people toward Moses and went on to say: “Let us go up directly, and we are bound to take possession of it, because we can surely prevail over it.”+
24 As for my servant Caʹleb,+ because a different spirit has proved to be with him and he kept following wholly after me,+ I shall certainly bring him into the land where he has gone, and his offspring will take possession of it.+
36 except Caʹleb the son of Je·phunʹneh.+ He will see it, and to him and to his sons I shall give the land upon which he trod, by reason of the fact that he has followed Jehovah fully.+
