4 Subsequently the Phi·lisʹtines collected together and came and pitched camp in Shuʹnem.+ So Saul collected all Israel together and they pitched camp in Gil·boʹa.+

3 And they* went looking for a beautiful girl throughout all the territory of Israel, and finally found Abʹi·shag+ the Shuʹnam·mite+ and then brought her in to the king.

17 And he went on to say: “Please, say to Solʹo·mon the king (for he will not turn your face away) that he should give me Abʹi·shag+ the Shuʹnam·mite+ as a wife.”

8 And it came about one day that E·liʹsha went passing along to Shuʹnem,+ where there was a prominent woman, and she began to constrain+ him to eat bread. And it came about that as often as he would pass by, he would turn aside there to eat bread.
