20 As for Be·naiʹah*+ the son of Je·hoiʹa·da+ the son of a valiant man, who did many deeds in Kabʹze·el,+ he himself struck down the two sons of Arʹi·el of Moʹab; and he himself descended and struck down a lion*+ inside a waterpit on a day of snowfall.+

38 And Zaʹdok+ the priest and Nathan+ the prophet and Be·naiʹah+ the son of Je·hoiʹa·da and the Cherʹe·thites+ and the Pelʹe·thites+ proceeded to go down and make Solʹo·mon ride upon the she-mule of King David,+ and then brought him to Giʹhon.+

5 The chief of the third service group for the third month was Be·naiʹah+ the son of Je·hoiʹa·da+ the chief priest, and in his division there were twenty-four thousand.
