33 And Aʹhab went on to make the sacred pole;*+ and Aʹhab came to do more to offend+ Jehovah the God of Israel than all the kings of Israel that happened to be prior to him.

27 And he went walking in the way of the house of Aʹhab+ and kept doing what was bad in Jehovah’s eyes,+ like the house of Aʹhab, for he was a relative of the house of Aʹhab by marriage.+

16 And the statutes of Omʹri+ and all the work of the house of Aʹhab are observed,+ and YOU people walk in their counsels;+ to the end that I may make you an object of astonishment and her inhabitants something to be whistled at;+ and the reproach of peoples* YOU men will bear.”+
