24 And these were the heads of the house of their forefathers: Eʹpher and Ishʹi and Eʹli·el and Azʹri·el and Jeremiah and Hod·a·viʹah and Jahʹdi·el, men that were valiant, mighty fellows, men of fame,* heads of the house of their forefathers.

21 And they, for their part, were of help to David against the marauder band,+ because all of them were mighty men+ of valor, and they came to be chiefs in the army;
