10 When Pharʹaoh got close by, the sons of Israel began to raise their eyes and here the Egyptians were marching after them; and the sons of Israel got quite afraid and began to cry out to Jehovah.+

20 And they came to be helped against them, so that the Hagʹrites and all those who were with them were given into their hand, for it was to God that they called for aid+ in the war, and he let himself be entreated in their favor because they trusted in him.+

20 But Hez·e·kiʹah+ the king and Isaiah*+ the son of Aʹmoz,+ the prophet,+ kept praying over this+ and crying to the heavens for aid.+

6 Do not be anxious over anything,+ but in everything by prayer and supplication+ along with thanksgiving let YOUR petitions be made known to God;+
