23 “‘So the land should not be sold in perpetuity,+ because the land is mine.+ For YOU are alien residents and settlers from my standpoint.+

15 For we are alien residents before you and settlers+ the same as all our forefathers. Like a shadow our days are upon the earth+ and there is no hope.

17 Furthermore, if YOU are calling upon the Father who judges impartially*+ according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves with fear+ during the time of YOUR alien residence.+

11 Beloved, I exhort YOU as aliens and temporary residents+ to keep abstaining from fleshly desires,+ which are the very ones that carry on a conflict against the soul.*+
