2 And all the sons of Israel began to murmur against Moses and Aaron,+ and all the assembly began to say against them: “If only we had died in the land of Egypt, or if only we had died in this wilderness!

27 “How long will this evil assembly have this murmuring that they are carrying on against me?+ I have heard the murmurings of the sons of Israel that they are murmuring against me.+

27 And YOU kept grumbling in YOUR tents and saying, ‘It was because Jehovah hated+ us that he brought us out of the land of Egypt+ to give us into the hand of the Amʹor·ites, to annihilate us.+
