22 And in case YOU men should say to me, ‘It is Jehovah+ our God in whom we have put our trust,’+ is he not the one whose high places+ and whose altars Hez·e·kiʹah+ has removed, while he says to Judah and Jerusalem, ‘Before this altar YOU should bow down in Jerusalem’?”’+

20 And they came to be helped against them, so that the Hagʹrites and all those who were with them were given into their hand, for it was to God that they called for aid+ in the war, and he let himself be entreated in their favor because they trusted in him.+

5 to whom the forefathers+ belong and from whom the Christ [sprang] according to the flesh:+ God,+ who is over all,* [be] blessed forever. Amen.
