24 So Joʹab went in to the king and said: “What have you done?+ Look! Abʹner has come to you. Why was it that you sent him off so that he successfully went away?
39 And I today am weak although anointed+ as king, and these men, the sons of Ze·ruʹiah,+ are too severe for me.+ May Jehovah repay the doer of what is bad according to his own badness.”+
5 And the people will actually tyrannize one over the other, even each one over his fellowman.+ They will storm, the boy against the old man,+ and the lightly esteemed one against the one to be honored.+
