8 And all these servants of yours will certainly come down to me and prostrate themselves to me,+ saying, ‘Go, you and all the people who follow your steps.’ And after that I shall go out.” With that he went out from Pharʹaoh in the heat of anger.

8 And there were some of the Gadʹites that separated themselves to David’s side at the place difficult to approach in the wilderness,+ valiant, mighty men, army men for the war, keeping the large shield and the lance ready,+ whose faces were the faces of lions,+ and they were like the gazelles upon the mountains for speed.+

16 Shaʹdrach, Meʹshach and A·bedʹne·go answered, and they were saying to the king: “O Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar, we are under no necessity in this regard to say back a word to you.+

13 Now when they beheld the outspokenness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were men unlettered and ordinary,+ they got to wondering. And they began to recognize about them that they used to be with Jesus;+

3 Therefore they spent considerable time speaking with boldness by the authority of Jehovah,* who bore witness to the word of his undeserved kindness by granting signs and portents to occur through their hands.+

2 but how, after we had first suffered+ and been insolently treated+ (just as YOU know) in Phi·lipʹpi,+ we mustered up boldness* by means of our God to speak+ to YOU the good news of God with a great deal of struggling.
