6 When Haʹman came in, the king proceeded to say to him: “What is to be done to the man in whose honor the king himself has taken a delight?”+ At this Haʹman said in his heart: “To whom would the king take delight in rendering an honor more than me?”+
14 I tell YOU, This man went down to his home proved more righteous+ than that man; because everyone that exalts himself will be humiliated, but he that humbles himself will be exalted.”+
6 However, the undeserved kindness which he gives is greater.+ Hence it says: “God opposes the haughty ones,+ but he gives undeserved kindness to the humble ones.”+
