6 YOUR [cause for] boasting+ is not fine. Do YOU not know that a little leaven ferments+ the whole lump?+

9 A little leaven ferments the whole lump.+

11 It is necessary to shut the mouths of these, as these very men keep on subverting entire households+ by teaching things they ought not for the sake of dishonest gain.+

15 carefully watching that no one may be deprived of the undeserved kindness of God;+ that no poisonous root+ may spring up and cause trouble and that many may not be defiled by it;+
