4 Hear the word of Jehovah, O sons of Israel, for Jehovah has a legal case with the inhabitants of the land,*+ for there is no truth+ nor loving-kindness* nor knowledge of God in the land.+
2 “And Jehovah has a legal case with Judah,+ even to hold an accounting against Jacob according to his ways;+ according to his dealings he will repay him.+
2 Hear, O YOU mountains, the legal case of Jehovah, also YOU durable objects, YOU foundations of [the] earth;+ for Jehovah has a legal case with his people, and it is with Israel that he will argue:+
