48 And you will have to serve your enemies+ whom Jehovah will send against you with hunger+ and thirst and nakedness and the want of everything; and he will certainly put an iron yoke upon your neck until he has annihilated you.+

28 “But as soon as they were at rest, they would again do what is bad before you,+ and you would leave them to the hand of their enemies, who would tread them down.+ Then they would return and call to you for aid,+ and you yourself would hear from the very heavens+ and deliver them in accord with your abundant mercy, time and again.+

13 And I will hurl YOU out from off this land+ into the land that YOU yourselves have not known,+ neither YOUR fathers, and there YOU will have to serve other gods+ day and night, because I shall not give YOU any favor.”’
