10 For we have heard how Jehovah dried up the waters of the Red Sea from before YOU when YOU came out of Egypt,+ and what YOU did to the two kings of the Amʹor·ites who were on the other side of the Jordan, namely, Siʹhon+ and Og,+ whom YOU devoted to destruction.+

9 At this they said to him: “It is from a very distant land+ that your servants have come in regard to the name+ of Jehovah your God, because we have heard of his fame and of all that he did in Egypt,+

8 Woe to us! Who will save us from the hand of this majestic God? This is the God that was the smiter* of Egypt with every sort of slaughter in the wilderness.+
