6During that night the king’s sleep fled.+ Therefore he said to bring the book of the records+ of the affairs of the times. Thus there came to be a reading of them before the king.
2And in the second year of the kingship of Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar, Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar dreamed dreams;+ and his spirit began to feel agitated,+ and his very sleep was made to be something beyond him.
