13 There is a generation whose eyes have become O how lofty! and whose beaming eyes are lifted up.+

9 And the people will certainly know [it],+ even all of them, Eʹphra·im and the inhabitant of Sa·marʹi·a,+ because of [their] haughtiness and because of [their] insolence of heart in saying:+

10 And the pride of Israel has testified to his face,+ and they have not returned to Jehovah their God,*+ nor have they looked for him because of all this.+
