9 Then Jesus said to them: “I ask YOU men, Is it lawful on the sabbath to do good+ or to do injury, to save or to destroy a soul?”*+

15 However, the Lord* answered him and said: “Hypocrites,+ does not each one of YOU on the sabbath untie his bull or his ass from the stall and lead it away to give it drink?+

23 If a man receives circumcision on a sabbath in order that the law of Moses may not be broken, are YOU violently angry at me because I made a man completely sound in health on a sabbath?+
