20 and they must say to the older men of his city, ‘This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious; he is not listening to our voice,+ being a glutton*+ and a drunkard.’+

20 Do not come to be among heavy drinkers of wine,+ among those who are gluttonous eaters of flesh.+

3 For the time+ that has passed by is sufficient for YOU to have worked out the will of the nations+ when YOU proceeded in deeds of loose conduct,*+ lusts, excesses with wine,+ revelries, drinking matches, and illegal idolatries.+
