2 For I am jealous over YOU with a godly jealousy,+ for I personally promised YOU in marriage+ to one husband+ that I might present YOU as a chaste+ virgin to the Christ.+

4 just as he chose+ us in union with him before the founding*+ of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish+ before him in love.+

22 he now has again reconciled+ by means of that one’s fleshly body through [his] death,+ in order to present YOU holy and unblemished+ and open to no accusation+ before him,

22 let us approach with true hearts in the full assurance of faith, having had our hearts sprinkled from a wicked conscience+ and our bodies bathed with clean water.+

27 But anything not sacred and anyone that carries on a disgusting+ thing and a lie+ will in no way enter into it;+ only those written in the Lamb’s scroll of life [will].+
