15 For YOU did not receive a spirit of slavery causing fear+ again, but YOU received a spirit+ of adoption+ as sons,* by which spirit we cry out: “Abba,*+ Father!”

2 but how, after we had first suffered+ and been insolently treated+ (just as YOU know) in Phi·lipʹpi,+ we mustered up boldness* by means of our God to speak+ to YOU the good news of God with a great deal of struggling.

8 But as for the cowards and those without faith+ and those who are disgusting in their filth+ and murderers+ and fornicators+ and those practicing spiritism* and idolaters+ and all the liars,+ their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire+ and sulphur.+ This means* the second death.”+
