21 And Satan* proceeded to stand up against Israel and to incite+ David to number Israel.

6 Now it came to be the day when the sons* of the [true] God*+ entered to take their station before Jehovah,+ and even Satan*+ proceeded to enter right among them.+

2 Then [the angel+ of] Jehovah* said to Satan: “Jehovah rebuke+ you, O Satan, yes, Jehovah rebuke you, he who is choosing Jerusalem!+ Is this one not a log snatched out of the fire?”+

10 Then Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written, ‘It is Jehovah* your God you must worship,+ and it is to him alone+ you must render sacred service.’”*+

27 And after the morsel then Satan entered into the latter.+ Jesus, therefore, said to him: “What you are doing get done more quickly.”

20 For his part, the God who gives peace+ will crush Satan+ under YOUR feet shortly. May the undeserved kindness of our Lord Jesus be with YOU.+

9 But the lawless one’s presence* is according to the operation*+ of Satan with every powerful work and lying signs and portents+
