12 I will do what you asked.+ I will give you a wise and understanding heart,+ so that just as there has never been anyone like you before, there will never be anyone like you again.+ 13 Furthermore, what you have not requested I will give you,+ both riches and glory,+ so that there will be no other king like you in your lifetime.*+

29 And God gave Solʹo·mon wisdom and discernment in very great measure and a broadness of heart* like the sand on the seashore.+

22 So King Solʹo·mon was greater than all the other kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.+ 23 And the kings of all the earth sought an audience with* Solʹo·mon to hear his wisdom that the true God had put in his heart.+ 24 They would each bring a gift—articles of silver, articles of gold, garments,+ armor, balsam oil, horses, and mules—and this continued year after year.
