16 Therefore, openly confess your sins+ to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. A righteous man’s supplication has a powerful effect.*+

12 For the eyes of Jehovah* are on the righteous, and his ears listen to their supplication,+ but the face of Jehovah* is against those doing bad things.”+

21 Beloved ones, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have freeness of speech toward God;+ 22 and whatever we ask we receive from him,+ because we are observing his commandments and doing what is pleasing in his eyes.
