6 For our fathers have been unfaithful and have done what was bad in the eyes of Jehovah our God.+ They abandoned him and turned their faces away from the tabernacle of Jehovah and turned their back on him.+

33 They kept turning their backs to me, not their faces;+ although I tried to teach them again and again,* none of them would listen to receive discipline.+
