5 These 12 Jesus sent out, giving them these instructions:+ “Do not go off into the road of the nations, and do not enter any Sa·marʹi·tan city;+ 6 but instead, go continually to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.+

26 In answer he said: “It is not right to take the bread of the children and throw it to the little dogs.”

4 who are Israelites. To them belong the adoption as sons+ and the glory and the covenants+ and the giving of the Law+ and the sacred service+ and the promises.+

12 At that time you were without Christ, alienated from the state of Israel, strangers to the covenants of the promise;+ you had no hope and were without God in the world.+
