27When morning came, all the chief priests and the elders of the people consulted together against Jesus to put him to death.+2 After binding him, they led him off and handed him over to Pilate, the governor.+
66 And when it became day, the assembly of elders of the people, both chief priests and scribes, gathered together,+ and they led him into their Sanʹhe·drin hall and said:
28 Then they led Jesus from Caʹia·phas to the governor’s residence.+ It was now early in the morning. But they themselves did not enter into the governor’s residence, so that they would not get defiled+ but could eat the Passover.
13 The God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob,+ the God of our forefathers, has glorified his Servant,+ Jesus,+ whom you handed over+ and disowned before Pilate, even though he had decided to release him.
