7 Jehovah then appeared to Aʹbram and said: “To your offspring*+ I am going to give this land.”+ So he built an altar there to Jehovah, who had appeared to him.
18 On that day Jehovah made with Aʹbram a covenant,+ saying: “To your offspring* I will give this land,+ from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Eu·phraʹtes:+
7 Jehovah the God of the heavens, who took me from my father’s house and from the land of my relatives+ and who spoke with me and swore to me:+ ‘To your offspring*+ I am going to give this land,’+ he will send his angel ahead of you,+ and you will certainly take a wife for my son from there.+
33Jehovah said further to Moses: “Go on your way from here with the people whom you led up out of the land of Egypt. Journey to the land about which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, ‘To your offspring* I will give it.’+
