5 Rather, seek Jehovah your God wherever he chooses to establish his name and his place of residence among all your tribes, and go there.+

12 When your days come to an end+ and you are laid to rest with your forefathers, then I will raise up your offspring* after you, your own son,* and I will firmly establish his kingdom.+ 13 He is the one who will build a house for my name,+ and I will firmly establish the throne of his kingdom forever.+

29 May your eyes be open toward this house night and day, toward the place of which you said, ‘My name will be there,’+ to listen to the prayer that your servant prays toward this place.+

3 Jehovah said to him: “I have heard your prayer and your request for favor that you made before me. I have sanctified this house that you built by permanently putting my name there,+ and my eyes and my heart will always be there.+
