24 “‘Do not make yourselves unclean by any of these things, for it is by all these things that the nations that I am driving out from before you have made themselves unclean.+ 25 Therefore, the land is unclean, and I will bring punishment on it for its error, and the land will vomit its inhabitants out.+

26 Nevertheless, Jehovah did not turn away from his burning anger that blazed against Judah because of all the offensive things that Ma·nasʹseh had done to offend Him.+

3 Surely it was by the order of Jehovah that this happened to Judah, to remove them from his sight+ because of all the sins that Ma·nasʹseh had committed,+

4 And I will make them an object of horror to all the kingdoms of the earth+ because of Ma·nasʹseh the son of Hez·e·kiʹah, the king of Judah, for what he did in Jerusalem.+
