9 The chiefs of hundreds+ did exactly what Je·hoiʹa·da the priest had commanded. So each one took his men who were on duty on the Sabbath, together with those who were off duty on the Sabbath, and they came in to Je·hoiʹa·da the priest.+

8 Now as he was serving as priest in the assignment of his division+ before God,

23 When the days of his holy service were completed, he went off to his home.
